Privacy policy covering development and delivery of all products and services supplied by Optimeerting Aqua AS (Norwegian entity number 914 458 412). When logging on to Bioplan and other sites supplied by Optimeering Aqua you agree to the content of this document as well as Terms of Service. Our mission is to simplify data based decision making in modern operational aquaculture by bringing together data from all relevant sources, extract what is important and present it in a modern and visual interphase to the user. To enable adequate support and continuous development of these solutions in line with our customers’ needs and preferences we are collecting data around users and use patterns. We lay significant emphasis on secure data handling, combined with transparency regarding what kind of data is collected and stored around each user. In the following you will find a further specification of what kind of data we are collecting, how and why.   1. Cookies Our web sites may use cookies to enhance user experience. Users' web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and to track information about them. The user may restrict the use of cookies in their web browser. This may impact the performance of online tools.
  2. Log-on data (Intercom) We collect data showing who is logged on to our platforms and when. We are doing this to ensure sufficient capacity on servers and support, minimize potential impact of changes and upgrades and get a good impression of the quantitative use of our solutions.
  3. User contact information (CRM) We collect and store contact information such as telephone number and email address for our users in order to provide adequate user follow-up and to update users around important functional changes or security considerations.
  4. Functional abnormalities (Sentry) We make our very best effort to ensure stability and all new functionality is tested before implementation. However, it is not difficult to cover all potential use cases. Version 1.2 (October 2021) From time to time errors may be discovered in operational use. To identify and eliminate such errors as quickly as possible we are using a specific tool to report functional abnormalities.
  5. Use patterns (Hotjar) Hotjar collects more specific (quantitative and qualitative) information around how the solutions are being used which helps us to better understand our users’ functional needs and preferences and to confirm or adjust basic assumptions behind development dispositions. In this way it also provides valuable guidance for further development of functional content as well as user interface. By following these steps you will restrict Hotjar’s collection of data from your visits to our web sites as well as other websites.
